Welcome back!
Last week, the Inspiration focused on living in the here and now, taking risks, and making your dreams happen now. Not in one year, or even two, but right now!
Today, I’m hoping to keep life in perspective:
In life, stuff happens.
You can try to factor craziness into your schedule, your habits, even your budget, but no matter how hard you work at preparing for the unpreparable, something is going to catch you off guard.
I think it’s called Murphy’s Law: what can go wrong will go wrong.
I really try hard not to be negative, but the reality is that life isn’t always sunshine and roses. Whether it’s gremlins in the budget, sickness that keep your whole family in bed for a week, or even your site being shut down by your host (because that would never happen to me…..) life happens.
Of course, when you’re in the thick of it, you’re just surviving, treading water until you get life back under control again. But while you’re treading water, ask yourself this one question to pull yourself out of the panic and put the tough stuff in perspective:
In 5 years,
Will this matter?
In 5 years, will you have learned from this?
Grown from this?
Walked away from this?
Even think about this?
If you felt inspired, grab a printable!
