Meal planning is the pits.
Sure, there are good things about it, like the crazy amounts of money that you save, the fresher, healthier food that you eat, and the added benefit of not having to think about what’s for dinner.
But I hate actually doing it. I’m a super control-freak, type A, and meal planning drives me crazy. There are too many options, too much to think about, I just get overwhelmed!
Or, it could be that you just don’t have enough time – and believe me, I’ve been there. Just last year I was working 75+ hour weeks and it was awful, so trust me I know what it’s like to put aside meal planning for more important things, like laundry and family time.
I’m guessing that some of you out there are like me and hate meal planning or you flat out don’t have time.
So, I’ve created 3 ways that will teach you how to meals plan when you don’t have time, or just hate it!
Pay Someone Else To Do It (Cheaply) –
Just because you don’t have time to meal plan doesn’t mean you have to shovel out a ton of money to pay for meal plans created by someone else.
eMeals plans start at $5.00 a month, which is a no-brainer, and with more than 29 different meal plans to choose from, including Classic, Clean Eating, Slow Cooker, Gourmet.
What’s more, eMeals alllows you to customize your meal plan to your favorite store (mine is Aldi) and your meal plan will take into account the sales that week, so your groceries end up costing you less. You can read a full, detailed review of eMeals here.

Keep it Simple –
Maybe you don’t have the extra money to spend on a meal plan (hello, debt!) or maybe eMeals has too many choices for you. If that’s the case, the best way to meal plan is to keep simple freezer meals on hand, like these from I Am That Lady.
In an hour you can create 10 (or more) freezer meals, and these freezer meal cooking plans come free of charge all of over Pinterest.
Simply type “Freezer Meals” into the search bar of Pinterest, and you’ll have tons (and I mean tons!) of options available for every budget, store, complexity, or technical skill level.

I had no idea that there are sites that will plan meals for you! Helpful! Oh, and I am a new believer in freezer meals. With baby number 3 coming in July I am planning on making a bunch! Thanks for all the tips!

Paying someone else to do it sounds so simple but is great advice (assuming you can afford it). :) I actually love meal planning, but I don’t have time to do it anymore… I’ve been meaning to do a massive freezer cooking session but even that can be hard at times!

Freezer meals are awesome! They don’t have to be time-consuming either; I like to double a dinner recipe and freeze half for another day. =)
